Due to the overwhelming number of applications, we are unable to answer questions regarding the status of your application.

Are you accepting applications for the 2009 program?
The application process is closed for the 2009 summer program, and all acceptance decisions have been finalized. We sent notification to each applicant via the email address provided.
Please visit our site again in the fall to apply for the 2010 program!
Can you confirm receipt of my application?
Unfortunately, we are unable to do so at this time. We received over 5,000 applications for our program and it is not possible for our office to confirm receipt until we have processed all of the applications.
I was sick/out of town. Can you extend the deadline?
Unfortunately, we cannot. Due to the massive amount of applications we have received, we cannot extend the deadline for any reason. However, the program runs yearly, and so we highly encourage anyone who is interested to wait until the fall and fill out an application for our Summer 2010 program. In the meantime, we will add you to our mailing list so you can find out about other Running Start programs.
How do I apply for a travel scholarship?
We will send out forms to apply for need based travel scholarships once girls have been accepted to the program.
